All of our Gates Are Hand built in the UK By specialist craftsmen and women. All our carpenters and metal workers have years of experience behind them and pride themselves on the final product.

Types of Wood

We use both hardwood and softwood in the manufacture of your gates and pillars - below is a small selection of the most common types of wood used in the creation process - If you do not see the type you require please contact us - in most cases it is possible to create the gate out of the wood of your choice.

Treatment

Your gates can be supplied untreated or treated in the following ways. Note - Not all methods are suitable for all types of wood.

• Waxed
• Stained
• Varnished
• Oiled
• Painted

Sustainability

Where ever possible the wood used in the creation of your new gates is sourced from sustainable forests.

We take all efforts and never knowingly purchase wood from illegal fells or environmentally questionable sources.

It is company policy to support the repopulating of the worlds forests.
